Attention Fantasy Authors!
Hydra Publications is looking for epic fantasy submissions for a new anthology to be published in Spring, 2020. The theme of the anthology will be titanic/colossal creatures—fighting against them, summoning and controlling them, banishing them, etc.
Requirements:
• 8,000 – 12,000 words
• Original fiction—no reprints
• A unique plot revolving around a titanic beast (natural, divine, magical, and other origins are all acceptable so long as the creature accurately conveys monstrosity)
• Medieval / Epic Fantasy setting
• A plot that ends. No cliffhangers. ‘Happy’ ending not required nor encouraged
