Newly signed New York Times bestselling fantasy author, Richard A. Knaak, is a busy boy. His new novella, Rex Draconis: Under the Dragon Moon is being adapted for RPG players everywhere. Here is the official announcement from Richard:

Happy to formally announce that I have just licensed gaming products for the Rex Draconis fantasy series! Beginning 2018, P.B. Publishing & Pyromaniac Press, both veteran gaming forces, will combine efforts to produce a variety of gaming products, starting with 1-2 adventures/dungeons based on each of the two initial novellas!

The current view is to release for both D&D 5e and Pathfinder systems in order to maximize accessibility for gamers.

P.B. Publishing is best known for The Haunt: the platinum best selling haunted house horror one-shot dungeon that has been  featured in Dragon+ magazine in their Best of DMs Guild article, while Pyromaniac Press is best known for the What Lies Beyond Reason saga, an epic fantasy-horror adventure that explores the themes of madness and obsession, of betrayal and consequence, and the hope of redemption.

The first adventure, based on the story Under the Dragon Moon, is tentatively scheduled for mid-2018.

I am pleased to have designers of such caliber take interest in the Rex Draconis and Tiberos, the world in which everything takes place. Rex Draconis is a setting years in the formulation in some ways, its roots in both my Dragonlance and Dragonrealm stories. I’ve had several readers ask me for gaming material and with this arrangement we are sure to have a number of the highest quality adventures.

Rex Draconis

A world of minotaurs, knights, wizards, dwarves, elves, dragons, and more. A world familiar, yet a world new. A world where gods intrude at their whim. A world created by the author of The Legend of Huma, Kaz the Minotaur, and more with the cooperation and assistance of fans of those works.

And a world where a great leviathan is said to watch over gods and the younger races, preparing to judge each as it sees fit.
As is its right.

REX DRACONIS
